Nothing super interesting happened on this day in WSOP history, so here's a factoid: Johnny Moss was the youngest winner of the WSOP Main Event by virtue of being the only winner until 1972, when Amarillo Slim Preston took the crown at 43. Doyle Brunson lowered that by a year in 1976, then Bobby Baldwin dropped it all the way to 28 in 1978. That record only last two years, as Stu Ungar was 26 in 1980. Phil Hellmuth was just 24 in 1989, a record that lasted almost two decades.
