  Nothing super interesting happened on this day in WSOP history, so here's a factoid: In the final hand of the 2008 WSOP Main Event, Ivan Demidov held the 4♥2♥ and improved from a pair to two pairs on the turn. Unfortunately for him, the turn also gave Peter Eastgate a winning straight.
