• 2013: WSOP Asia-Pacific Debuts
  Five events to be held at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The A$1,100 No-Limit Hold 'Em Accumulator is the first WSOP bracelet event in the southern hemisphere.

• 2018: Big Blind Ante to Debut at WSOP in 8 Hold 'Em Tournaments
  Events will include buyins from $1,000 to $1,000,000 (Big One for One Drop). Having the player in the big blind ante for everyone speeds up play considerably while minimally affecting the game.
