- 1992: Amarillo Slim Preston Inducted Into Poker Hall of Fame
Preston won the 1972 WSOP Main Event and four other bracelets, including the 1972 $5,000 Razz that's missing from the record books.
- 2005: Mike Matusow Wins Tournament of Champions
Defeats field of 114, including Hoyt Corkins heads up, to win $1,000,000 in the non-bracelet event.
- 2008: Dewey Tomko and Henry Orenstein Inducted Into Poker Hall of Fame
Tomko is 3-time bracelet winner and 2-time WSOP Main Event runner-up (1982 and 2001), while Orenstein reached a Main Event final table (8th in 1995) and won a bracelet (1996 $5,000 Seven-Card Stud for $130,000) but is better known for inventing the hole card camera (and Transformers).
- 2021: Phil Hellmuth Enters Main Event Dress as Gandalf
Walks in with 16 models (one for each of his bracelets), two elves, and another wizard (possibly Dan Cates).
