Most Cashes in One WSOP

As long as the World Series of Poker keeps adding new events each year, records will keep falling. In particular, the most cashes by one player in a single summer has been broken several times recently, and in 2016 the WSOP expanded from paying 10% of the field to 15%.

With the World Series of Poker moving online for the summer of 2020, Daniel Negreanu smashed the record for cashes despite the number of events dropping from 2019. The Canadian was one of the few players to compete at both sites, racking up an impressive 15 cashes out of a possible 31 WSOP.com events and 19 cashes out of 54 GGPoker events.

Notes:

The women's record was destined to fall soon with the continual increase in events, but Michelle Shah obliterated the record during the 2020 summer online WSOP, cashing 20 times out of only 54 possible GGPoker events. She could have pushed the record considerably higher but chose not play at WSOP.com despite being an American.
