Women in Poker Hall of Fame Playing Card Deck

In August 2000, the now-defunct posted a minimal web page titled "Women's Hall of Fame: A Selection of the Leading Women Poker Players". Great idea. Horrible implementation. The women listed included some of the real stars of poker along with a number of players who have completely faded into obscurity. There were no explanations or descriptions aside from three very brief notes, and over a quarter of the names were misspelled, while one was repeated.

Eight years later, Lupe Soto founded the Women in Poker Hall of Fame to shine a proper light on the most accomplished women in the poker world. Like the Poker Hall of Fame, which at the time had just a single female out of 37 members, inductees could be either players or contributors. Four women -- Barbara Enright, Susie Isaacs, Linda Johnson, and Marsha Waggoner -- were enshrined in 2008, two were added each year until 2012, and two have been added every other year since.

The Women in Poker Hall of Fame playing card deck celebrates the accomplishments of all of these women.

The front of each card has the suit and denomination, player name, and a caricature.1

The backs have the name, a poker-related quote, and one to three factoids. Players also have their best WSOP Main Event finish, WSOP bracelets, WSOP cashes, WPT titles, and career live tournament winnings.
